What you can do

Trim audio to an exact region by dragging a selection on the waveform and clicking Trim

Apply a linear fade-in or fade-out over any selected portion of the clip

Boost or reduce volume with a gain slider (0 to 300%) and see the change in dB before applying

Normalize loudness so the loudest peak hits 0.3 dBFS below full scale in one click

Click and drag on the waveform to select a region. Use the Edit panel to trim, fade, normalize, reverse, or adjust gain.
