Pixel Art Maker is a free, private sprite editor that runs entirely in your web browser. Choose a grid from 8×8 up to 64×64, pick from NES-flavored, pastel or mono palettes, and draw with pencil, fill, line, rectangle or eyedropper tools. Because everything happens locally on your device, your files are never uploaded to a server. There is no sign-up or installation required. What you can do

Draw on a grid from 8×8 to 64×64 pixels using pencil, eraser, line, rectangle and flood-fill tools.

Mirror your strokes with Mirror-X mode to create symmetrical characters and icons in half the time.

Choose your palette from NES-ish, pastel or mono presets, or pick any custom color with the color picker.

Undo and redo up to 80 steps, and toggle the pixel grid on or off as you work.

Export a transparent PNG at 1x, 8x or 16x scale for crisp sharing or use in games.

Import a PNG onto the grid to continue editing an existing sprite or icon.

How to use Pixel Art Maker

Choose a grid size (8×8 to 64×64) from the Grid dropdown in the toolbar.

Select a palette preset (NES-ish, Pastel or Mono) or pick a custom color with the color input.

Select a drawing tool: pencil, eraser, fill, line or rectangle. Enable Mirror-X for instant symmetry.

Click and drag on the canvas to paint your sprite. Use Ctrl+Z to undo any step.

Choose an export scale (1x, 8x or 16x) and click Download PNG to save your artwork.
